Our first T A S K !!

hello !! this week, we have been given new tasks for the MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY subject. Ms.Nabila asked us to introduce myself and discuss and provide an opinion on MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY.. yeah it sounds simple but IT IS NOT.. hehe..Ok now let me introduce myself.. my full name is NOOR AIN BINTI NORMAN.. my birthday is on September 12 1989.. doing my Second Year Bachelor in Mass Communication, majored in Journalism in SEGi University College, Kota Damansara. I'm  a very simple person but sometimes I'm a bit fussy in everything.. I love MUSIC... love to listen any genre of music as long as it is a nice song.. hehe nothing much about myself plus I am not used to share personal things to others... probably because I am a shy person.. pemalu sangat kan.. haha..
Yeah now I want to share with you my opinion about MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY. At first, when I know that i will take this subject, agak risau sebab nampak macam susah.. lagi-lagi about technology which is I am not extremely with that.. haha but Alhamdulillah after attended two classes with Ms.Nabila, I think this subject is not as bad as i thought.. hehe..

it's all about MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY

what is  MEDIA TECHNOLOGY? According to PC Magazine Encyclopedia it is refer to a generic term for the many different forms of electronic communication that are made possible through the used of computer technology. New media includes website, chat rooms, email, online communities, DVD and CD ROM media,  web advertising and mobile computing.
before this, we was discussed about the used of media technology for us, now I want to discuss about the used of media in schools. sekarang ni kalau kita lihat kanak-kanak pon dah pandai guna teknologi.. why? because mereka dah didedahkan dengan teknologi semasa di sekolah lagi.. There are two major approaches to using media and technology in schools. First, students can learn “from” media and technology, which means referred to in terms such as instructional television, computer-based instruction, or integrated learning systems. Second, they can learn “with” media and technology, referred to in terms such as cognitive tools and constructional learning environments. Examples of cognitive tools include: databases,
spreadsheets, semantic networks, expert systems, communications software suchas teleconferencing programs,on-line collaborative knowledge construction environments, multimedia construction software, and computer programming languages.
I think dengan menggunakan media technology in schools, it helps to improves students performance because they can expose in the technology and improves motivation, attitude and interest. If they only referred to book I am very sure that the learning process become bored. with the technology, students more creative to produce their work. I still remember when I'm in secondary school, we only have mahjong paper to present our work.. It looks boring kalau present just atas kertas putih right? So, nowadays I'm sure there was no mahjong paper anymore because they can present with power point which is your content akan nampak lebih cantik, creative and professional. School performance also might be improves when students use challenging and technology applications designed to develop basic skills and knowledge...
As a conclusion, the used of media technology in schools is the best way to improves students performances and to attract students to be more interested in their study. It is also good if the child have been exposed from childhood as they should be trained from the beginning...


Yeahh.. I'm done with my first post and will be continued for our grouping article :)
